I've often thought of my work as musically reacting to life experiences.

Inspiration, theme and intent can all be fleeting, sometimes morphing into a greater whole or even producing unexpected outcomes. It's inherent to want to guide the creative flow, but sometimes letting go and loosening one's grip on the wheel of the process can better allow new ideas to reveal themselves.

These pieces were originally meant to share a set of rules and limitations but as things evolved, a new theme emerged.

I enjoy spending time with memory and nostalgia, reflecting on the minutia of everything that has led to the current moment and what I continue to find is that given the chance to go back and change even a grain of something along the way, I wouldn't be who I am now.

This album is a musical reaction to that realization.
