SAM KIMBLE and his Orchestra made a few records in Hartford in the 1960's (1950's?) that received some local airplay but never charted nationally... Outstanding small band Jazz, with great Sax work by Henry Bentley... They were (and still are) a mainstay at Hartford area small clubs, neighborhood venues (McDonald's on West Main in New Britain, Elks Club in Hartford, Aqua Turf club, etc.) and have become a legendary combo throughout Connecticut!
