A Folk pop combo in the mould of Peter Paul and Mary and the Mamas & The Papas, the Wedgwoods released two fine singles on the Pye label between 1964 and 65. September In The Rain was their first 45 and captures the style a good year before the M&Ps debut. Available on Sanctuary’s Ripples: presents The Autumn Almanac compilation.
