Synopsis: Over the course of one afternoon amateur crossfitter Sam (Ashley Jerue) faces down an event to set five world records in a half-hour, putting her on the path to become a pro. Despite a tough year with the loss of her father and a crumbling marriage she has become the strongest she’s ever been, and she is out to prove herself. Her coach, Shane (Demetrius Grosse, 'Fear the Walking Dead'), has organized the event with potential sponsorships on the line. But just before she begins the timed event conflict erupts with Charlie (Noah Kershisnik, 'The Killing of Two Lovers'), her estranged husband. On the verge of collapse, every aspect of Sam’s ability is tested as the afternoon becomes more than record setting, but a desperate struggle to hold everything together by winning it all. The cast is also supported by Jake Stormeon (CW’s 'The Outpost'), Kim Rhodes ('The Suite Life of Zack & Cody') and more. The film was shot on location in Utah at an actual cross-training gym. The five world records in the film are based on real Guinness World Records that were previously set in 2017. Ashley Jerue beat over 1700 submissions for the role, and pulls double-duty acting and attempting to break all five records within the film. ‘Strong Enough’ combines the spectacle of sport with a traditional narrative in a first-of-its-kind, cross-training drama.
