In this episode of How to Build a Garage Addition, we finally have our Huber Wood Zip Sheeting show up for our porch roof and It also gave me a chance to finally try out a Dewalt 21 degree framing nailer for the first time. It has been sitting in my shop for about three months, but I was waiting for the right time to actually put it through its paces instead of just shop testing it. Man....you will just have to watch the video to find out what I think!The Zip sheeting might look familiar if you have followed along since the Diresta Dream Shop Series. It is the same material we used back then to get us the flattest roof we've ever had. We opted for the tongue and tongue this time however vs. the tongue and groove. This made installation so much easier and still gave us amazing results.
I apologize, but my camera must have died or I never pressed Record during the install of the windows and side steel, but I had my GoPro 7 capturing it at least.
Also, to be fair with the dewalt...it could be and most likely is a total fluke with what I experienced... but It wouldn't be fair to not be open and honest with you guys.
