Some technical background, for those who are interested :
This basically consists of one basic chord track recorded to the portastudio tape on the OP-1f, which really adds a lot of texture (and kills a lot of bass, so you need to adjust). I then recorded a second, complimentary synth line on top.
Added a very simple, somewhat random (sequenced with Tombola) Pluck sound, recorded in reverse, so it plays backwards. Added just a hint of a prerecorded, very noisy pad. Slowed the tape down by 6 half steps.
Then, out into the Vongon Polyphrase, which I just used as a simple stereo delay in this instance. It has a fantastic stereo separation.
And a touch of the lovely Ultrasheer in the end. Not to much, as not to wash it out, but enough to add some depth. And that’s it.
