Peace. I also lived on 179th & Treemont and DJ'd out of those same windows in the West Bronx. People mistakenly think Hip Hop started in the South Bronx because KRS ONE made the claim in 1987. Afrika Bambaataa contradicts KRS ONE on the birthplace of Hip Hop, and Kool Herc confirms Treemont, not Bronxdale.
