This is my most underground beat tape so far. These are the old lost tapes of Freshisui. This is an "imperfect" job technically, you can feel those mistakes in the mixes, in the changes from one song to another because this is intended to recall the old cassette tapes that mc's and beatmakers sold on the street. The process to make this beat tape has been beautiful and laborious. No track has been mixed in a DAW or made with a computer. The beats have been rescued from the old Freshisui MPC5000, also from the MPC One and its SP-404sx. Some of the beats couldn't even be mixed because I only kept the audio file inside the cassette tape, then all the tracks have been recorded on a cassette recorder. Work has also been done with the equalizers offered by the cassette recording deck. Some have barely been able to be mixed, it has been hard work with many limitations. This is old school, this has another feel, my most authentically natural shit, so much so that some chops have even been played in real time while being recorded on the cassette deck. This shit smells like old 90s Cassette. All tracks giving this special feelings because Freshisui sampled all records from vinyl. Enjoy this timeless work. One Love!
