Scrapping of ‘anti-Islamic’ texts books demanded

Several thousand people on Friday afternoon staged demonstration and brought out procession demanding scrapping of some school texts book claiming them anti-Islamic.
The demonstrators also protested against the burning of the Quran in Sweden in the past week.
The Khelafat Majlis organised the demonstration in front of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Jumaa prayer.
Police force was deployed in Baitul Mukarram and Paltan crossing areas to avoid any unwanted situation.
