The City of Hollywood's Department of Public Works hosts a volunteer Beach Sweep Clean-Up every 2nd Saturday of the month. The beach sweep is part of the Department's "Let's Keep Hollywood Beautiful" initiative. Volunteers meet at Charnow Park on Hollywood Beach to pick up liter along the 7 mile stretch of sandy beach.
