In the video, A man tries fixing a dent on his car's front bumper using a hot melt glue stick. He attaches it to the dent, pulls with a T-handle puller, but the glue rips off—leaving the dent unchanged.
Why it failed?
① Bumper was not degreased (oil/dirt breaks adhesion)
② Glue heated too weak or too hot (poor plastic bonding)
③ Pulled at wrong angle (force must be perpendicular!).
Tips: Clean with alcohol pre-gluing + use IR thermometer for 150-170°C melt.
