Officer Lakeesha Boyd served the Hollywood Police Department for five years.
She grew up in Miami and graduated with a Bachelor's from the Union Institute and University. During Lakesha's career, she was assigned to Patrol and was also a School Resource Officer.
She taught Gang Resistance Education And Training and was an Explorer Advisor. On April 13th, 2008, the Hollywood Police Department lost Officer Boyd to suicide. We will never forget her contributions to our city and its citizens.
