Over a year ago, the Serpentine project began to take shape when the paths of Ouroboros PHD and Gal crossed. Gal, an impeccable and multifaceted producer, has spent the last few years enriching the electronic music scene with his contributions to multiple labels, all while developing his own imprint, Xternal Records.

For this EP, we had the honor of inviting VCO to reimagine one of the tracks with a remix. His response was a resounding yes, which filled us with excitement and added a new dimension to this collaboration. VCO, beyond being a dear friend, is an artist who stands out for his authenticity, passion, and unique personality.

This work, which follows Acid Break by Grey Pantone in our catalog, delves into profound ideas and emotions. We prefer to let the music, rather than words, guide you through these sensations. Yet, we cannot go without expressing our gratitude for this collaboration, which transcends music itself—it is a human exchange, an act of wisdom that each body holds and shares.

Serpentine is named after a stone believed to have healing properties, known for balancing chakras and awakening kundalini energy. In this Year of the Snake, the EP has patiently awaited its moment, and it will finally come to light on February 7th. The release includes a limited edition of dub plates, crafted with care and dedication: each cover and sticker has been designed and painted by hand, one by one. This is no factory-made product—it is a unique creation.

Art is therapy, and this is the message we wish to share with you. May the music of Serpentine EP resonate with you and awaken those parts of yourself that are waiting to be recognized.
