#windmill #turbine We climbed to the top of a windmill, or turbine I suppose is what it’s really called because it produces energy. While visiting Iowa Lakes community College, they gave us a tour of the wind energy program and sent us to the top of their very own wind turbine. Probably one of the coolest things I’ve done in a really long time!!

It’s amazing all the technical careers you can learn and get paid great money from without ever doing the whole 4 year college degree path! A school like an Iowa Lakes offers courses for many of these different career choices and truly was a great place to visit. I highly recommend 10/10
