Charlene Robinson has come a long way from her roots in the Erinsborough suburb of Melbourne, Australia, where she worked as a trainee mechanic. In 1985, the music industry noticed Charlene's smile, pleasant personality and khaki overalls, and - BOOM! - Kylie the popstar hit the world stage. Forget that Kylie C. Minogue is an anagram of "i.e. Lucky Gnome" - the pocket "princess of pop" didn't need any luck, despite naming her 1987 hit "I Should Be So Lucky". Kylie teamed up with the "Hit Factory" music production threesome, Michael Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete "Physics Teacher" Waterman and the rest is history.
The Gumby Dance Band are not the creators of "Seven Rivers," the classic 1981 hit record.
