Module 2 of the "Fills" Lab, discusses developing facility in 1/16th notes. Even though most music is based on straight or swinging 1/8th notes, the most common subdivision for fills, is 1/6th notes. The colors available on the kit playing 1/16th notes, are endless. Continuing the discussion of "breaking down" walls on the drums, I give the exercises and concepts for total control over 1/6th note flows on the kit.
