Hello friends and happy Friday! Today I'm basically updating my Overtone Ginger hair color video by showing you the method that I used to dye my roots when the ginger overtone did not cover them. Obviously I wish I didn't have to use chemical hair dye to cover my roots but let's be real, when your natural hair color is dark brown, you don't have many options. BUT, I didn't have to use bleach which I never want to use on my hair. You can always use a salon quality hair dye with a lift. You can lift your hair by 3 levels with a 30 volume developer. I only had a 20 volume developer on hand but normally i would recommend using a 30 volume if you have dark hair like mine. So this color didn't turn out the ginger that I had intended because the red I had on hand was more of a cherry red. I don't mind having more Arielesque hair though. But, if you're going for a more ginger color I suggest using anything called " light ginger" with a 30 volume developer. I'm going to try and test some more colors for you guys until I can find something to replace the color tango by wella light ginger that was literally perfect but no longer exists. Anyways, enjoy this vid and I promise my room makeover will be released next friday!
