In this video I am performing a range test of the DJI Neo. The DJI Neo uses the 04 transmission system when used with one of the compatible controllers it has a range of 10 km in ideal conditions. When flying with it connected to your phone only it is using Wi-Fi and the range will be limited. The main limiting factor for range with the DJI Neo will be the battery but as demonstrated in this video you can still achieve a reasonable distance. How far can the DJI Neo fly is a common question I have been asked on my channel.
