„Lady Isobel has its source in one of my poems, which I wrote about a dear friend of mine. The lute accompaniment was inspired by the guitar playing of, for example, Nick Drake and Bert Jansch.
Together with great vocals, flute playing, synthesizers and rhythms of my band colleagues, ‚Lady Isobel’ has become a wonderfully floating ballad that I am very proud of.“
