An epic flight in Wave in the Nor'West Arch, a massive wave cloud that forms over the Southern Alps of the South Island New Zealand. I launched from Springfield, near Christchurch for this amazing flight. We were under air traffic control most of this flight, and ran into technical issues and had to descend out of airspace. How did I handle it? Did I make it home? We're flying a Ventus cT Glider, talking to ATC and they were very help and friendly.
