Sometimes when I don’t have immediate inspiration, I read through my notes app which is full of journal entries, poetry, and also a ton of incoherent ramblings to hopefully glean inspiration from past me. I wrote this song after reading a poem I wrote on a trip in the spring. it was about the early morning hours I would spend alone while he slept and the late night hours he was alone while I slept. this song was made in that small bit of space and aloneness created by the few hours we would always miss each other.
