
Combined, the White Sage and Dragon Bravo fires have burned more than 80,000 acres of pristine wilderness on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
KSL News caught up with the folks at the Jacob Lake Inn who rely on that road for their livelihood. Their Inn and gas station has been closed for nearly two weeks and Manager Melinda Rich Marshall says it has devastated the local economy, “We are close to $300,000 lost in just reservations.”
