i know that this is a private press from the UK which is unlike my archival ethos, but trust me, i knew i had to get this one when i saw it. The Open Brode is a project by Peter Brodie where he had a bunch of friends help play his songs with him. this record in particular was completely unknown until now, having assumed that this was basically nonexistent in regards to his discography. his self-titled album is also pretty obscure, but known for the final track on this EP. Brodie wrote the songs The Open Road and Keep On Moving on this 7", both very ethereal acid folk songs with minimal percussion. divine minimal folk stuff and top shelf private press from the UK. amazing! The Open Road is one of my all time favorite private acid folk songs.
