Way back in the year 2000 Aaron had to have a surgery on his hand so he wasn’t able to play guitar.A friend of ours from a band called Square (which also featured Ryland Steen on drums) stepped in to fill the guitarless void on a couple
of tours.
James was SO much fun to play with, we were going to hire him full time as our lead guitar player but a band called Maroon 5 had the same idea and got him first.
We wonder what ever happened to that band. Haha JK They became world famous mega superstars of course! We’re very happy for James and his
awesome success; he deserves it!
Fun Facts:
* Maroon 5 was originally called Kara’s Flowers. We took them on their very first US tour in 1997 opening up for us and The Aquabats
* Yes Aaron is wearing the very same shirt from the “Live! In concert” film shot 10 years after this.
