Garo (ガロウ Garō, anime: Garou[12]) is a former disciple of Bang, but he was expelled by his master for mercilessly beating up the other disciples.Ch. 53 He first appears in the assembly of criminals in which Sitch tries to recruit superheroes. However, he declares he will become the top villain, and starts beating down any challengers as well as the A-Class superheroes who were guarding Sitch.Ch. 40 As a kid, he sympathized with the villains on television shows because they had always lost to the heroes.Ch. 41 After leaving the villain meeting, he goes on a "hero hunt", beating down random heroes including the Tank-Top Master and his gang. Although he knows Bang's Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock technique, he doesn't like to use it unless he has no other choice.Vol. 9 He takes an interest in Hero Association profiles, and is able to plan for their strengths and weaknesses.Vol. 10-11 Garo continues his rampage against the heroes, defeating Golden Ball and Spring Mustachio.Vol. 10 However, when he is casually knocked down by Saitama, he feels like he needs to up his game,Vol. 10 and goes after Metal Bat.Vol. 11 He was a former champion of a martial arts tournament where he had donned a Wolfman mask.Ch. 53 After being defeated by Watchdog Man, he vows to become stronger, but when he goes after King, he gets kicked into a wall by Saitama.Ch. 77

In the anime, Garou is voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa in the Japanese version[13] and by Greg Chun in the English dub.
