Tyler Hubbard - Miss My Daddy (Live Performance) | Vevo

It takes courage to start a new chapter in your life, but Tyler Hubbard had a good feeling about putting out his debut solo album. The country star, who made a major dent during his decade of work with Florida Georgia Line with chart-toppers such as "Dirt," "H.O.L.Y.," and "Cruise," had the itch to release music that was a bit more personal. Released last week, his self-titled album has already proven that he can connect with the listeners who were so smitten with his previous work. "5 Foot 9," "Dancin’ In The Country," and "Me For Me" are tunes that have earned a strong reaction. There are poignant moments, sections that stomp, and plenty of twang-centric songs that let Hubbard put his charismatic personality right up front. We invited him to our studio to roll through a couple of the record's high points: "Miss My Daddy" and "5 Foot 9." The unofficial video for the latter song has clocked 10 million views since its release, but you really need to see Hubbard lean into it in our performance to get the full impact. He really came on strong that day.
