Lapidary Art: Making an Easter Egg Agate! Join along as I turn a very rough agate nodule into a banded easter egg agate! I chose from my bin of Botswana agates just the right shaped agate nodule, then fired up my Hi Tech Diamond flat lap (8") with a 270 grit disc to grind off all the husk. Next, I fired up my CabKing (8") and started grinding away the work I did on the flat lap and getting it a more polished egg shape and continued using the Cabking through the 3,000 grit REZ wheel, where we got the mirrored polish.
