This volume of Sunday Cleaning is dedicated to my mom, Susan. This year her birthday, 2/16, happened to fall on a Sunday and I wanted to share some songs that she would play for me while I was growing up. Songs that I overheard her playing while we lived together in a small apartment off Whedon Road. Songs that I leaned on during the process of grieving her death. Songs that we enjoyed in our car rides, songs that helped shape me into the man I am today. It's been 3 birthday's without her. I thought that this would be getting easier but these days seem to keep getting harder. I saw somewhere shortly after she passed that people never truly die if their names keep being said, so I made a promise to myself that I would try my hardest to never let the name Susan O'Leary die. She would've been so proud of everything that's come my way this past year. I truly miss you mom and I will never stop dedicating the music to you. Happy birthday sweet girl, my greatest accomplishment is being able to call you my mom. (Ali I love you with all my heart and this is for you too)
