This week’s video is a mix of hands-on spring prep, ongoing repairs, and progress around the property. The footage takes you back to those early spring days—when the mornings were still chilly, the trees were mostly bare, and the first signs of new life were just starting to appear.

As you watch, you’ll see spring slowly come alive—more leaves, more blossoms, and a garden that grows greener and more vibrant with every task we complete.

We’re planting seeds for our future vegetable garden, giving the mower some well-earned maintenance (and realizing just how dull the old blades had gotten!), and getting the tractor in better shape with filter changes, a new seat, and the removal of two very stubborn stabilizer bars—all to help it run smoother and safer.

We also begin setting up our new Mammotion robotic mower, the LUBA 2. Once fully running, this smart little machine will take care of much of the mowing—saving us a lot of time during the busiest months ahead.

And quietly in the background, we’re getting closer to restarting two major projects: the driveway and the excavation behind the barns—just as soon as our trusty dumper is fully rebuilt. But for now, it’s all about laying the groundwork, one step at a time, for the exciting season ahead.
