I keep a capo on my main guitar for safekeeping. Having one handy can lead to creative moments like these:


Get into Open A or Open E tunings without adding extra tension to the strings
Don’t just double another player, use a capo and play the progression in a different position
For beginners, play the licks and chords you know in any key by moving the capo.
