Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for invalidating the petition to recall her, describing the verdict as just. INEC announced that the petition fell short of the constitutional requirement, with only 43.86% of registered voters in the Senator's constituency signing the recall notice, falling below the required 50% threshold as stated in Section 69(a) of the 1999 Constitution.
