A little bit ago, I was contacted by a producer friend of mine, Spiralflip, who had asked whether I would like to participate in a compilation album project titled Project Phantasia!It is an honor of mine to be able to contribute to such a high-quality project alongside so many nice musicians, but for me, this song is even more special than that.
One unique feature of Project Fantasia was that us artists were allowed to invite whoever we wanted to work on a song with us for the album.
I thought really hard about what kind of song might fit the fantasy setting and who I wanted to collaborate with, and I ended up shooting for the moon to ask someone I look up to an incredible amount.
That artist is Seycara, and working with him has honestly just been one of those dream collaborations that I could have never expected to be able to do!
HOPEFULLY if he stumbles on this video he won't be reading the description since all of this is like turbo embarrassing to admit ;-; ;-; ;-; ;-;
But years before I started making music myself, I was a huge Seycara fan and just loved everything in the discography. There's only a small handful of artists that I can say were influential enough on me to help me appreciate music enough to begin making it, and Seycara is 100% one of those.
Working on this project and working on this collaboration song has been both an honor and genuinely a dream come true, and it's still hard for me to believe it actually happened ;-; ;-;
