Did you know there are places on Earth with no natural trees? 🌲❌ In this video, we explore Qatar, a country famous for its wealth and innovation but lacking natural trees altogether. 🌳
We also travel to Greenland, where small, sparse trees grow only in the south, as 80% of the country is covered in ice. ❄️ Finally, we visit the Faroe Islands, where native trees can't survive the windy climate and rocky terrain, but humans have managed to plant a small forest in Tórshavn.

This is Qatar, a country famous not only for Qatar Airways and being one of the richest countries in the world due to its large oil reserves, but also for the fact that it has no natural trees at all. Of course, there is a man-made forest, but still, no naturally grown trees.
As you might expect, Greenland has almost no trees. You can find trees only in the southern part, but they are very small and sparse which is normal considering that 80% of Greenland is covered by a large ice sheet.
Moving south, we find the Faroe Islands, which have no native trees at all. Due to the windy climate and rocky terrain, it is difficult for large forests to thrive naturally. However, in Viðarlundin Park in Tórshavn, there is a small wooded area where imported trees have been successfully planted and maintained.
