We take a stone, porphyry, from a dirt road and turn it into multiple slabs and then into polished and finished cabochons, future pieces of jewelry. Porphyry is a Minnesota mineral that is rich in feldspar crystals, the piece we found is an exceptionally beautiful piece. Join along on this rockhounding and lapidary adventure!
