While I really love traveling, and realize the privilege thereof, it can still be super exhausting sometimes. This track started in a terminal at Chicago’s O’Hare airport, when I had a couple hours to kill waiting for my flight back to Germany after visiting family. It captures the mixed feelings of being in an airport regularly. On one hand I find them fascinating: there’s few other places where so many strangers from so many cultures briefly intertwine. On the other hand, I also find them draining because you essentially just spend hours waiting there to leave.Stream / Download:
