Sometimes aggressive bitting can actually make your life easier. If you count the loud clicks, you can hear that I only had to set three pins (one of which interacted with a spool pin). As I show at the end of the video, the other two pins sit so close to the shear line that they were likely inadvertently set while simply inserting the pick into the keyway.
Keep in mind that it may be just that easy to set a pin without trying, it's also just as easy to overset one as well.
