At the end of 2020 the Golden Fangs duo decided to start recording an album, in a nomad fashion, moving around some bits of equipment from Stazma's "Electric Voyage" studio, in Ardèche during January 2021 then in Bourges, inside the facilities of Emmetrop, at l'Antre-Peaux in February and April 2021.
These "outdoor" sessions during a still mostly lockdown territory and the new conditions for composing and recording have been the ingredients that lead to the making of "Take Two Stones".

For the first time we could try and record ideas we got playing on a loud sound system, with the bonus smell of a rehearsal room. Our studio space became a weird mix of synthesizers (fixed and modular), guitar, bass, pedals, microphones, plenty of weird ethnic instruments and metal scraps that we found around us. Without any rules, Stazma and Tit'o who always start from zero when they meet to make music, managed to compose and record one songs each day, helped by the pure excitement of doing something in the middle of this forced introspective times.

The joy of sharing fun times, sonic experiments, meals, movies & meeting and talking to new people had an clear impact on the making of this joyfully dark album.

After that we waited some time and got together again to mix and master the album at the Electric Voyage Studio in the Alpes de Haute Provence, where we also decided on tracklist and added a few last details to the selected tracks.

Spontaneity & urgency during it's making in winter, long listening sessions during it's final moments in winter, "Take Two Stones" finally comes to you in winter, unless it's being canceled this year!
