The House of Representatives has summoned Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, Sole Administrator of Rivers State, for an interactive session at the National Assembly in Abuja. This comes amid the controversial emergency rule currently in place in the oil-rich state.The Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State Oversight is seeking answers on governance, transparency, and decision-making since Ibas’s appointment. As questions grow over the legality and accountability of his leadership, all eyes are now on the outcome of this legislative probe.
