Rockstar David Roach dies at 59 just weeks after getting married. Roach passed away after a courageous battle with cancer for months. His death comes just two weeks after he married his partner, Jennifer. Roach was the founding member and vocalist of hard-rock band, Junkyard. The veteran East Hollywood band confirmed his passing with a post on August 2. Roach rose to fame as the frontman for Junkyard, which was formed in L.A. in 1987. Junkyard announced in March 2025 that Roach was battling 'aggressive squamous cell carcinoma'. The band revealed that the disease was affecting David's head, neck, and throat. Obituary-
