One of the most remote locations of the entire Grand Canyon is the North Rim. The Grand Canyon North Rim is not as easily accessible as the West Rim and South Rim because it is located much further away from any freeways, and is only open seasonally from mid-May to mid-October. The North Rim’s elevation is approximately between 8,000 to 9,000 feet, which is 1,500 feet higher than the South Rim, home to Grand Canyon National Park.

When flying above the Grand Canyon South Rim and North Rim on our Canyon Spirit helicopter excursion, we cruise at about 9,000 feet! This view allows passengers to grasp just how humongous the entire canyon is from its length to its width. In addition, you will also witness incredible bird’s-eye views of the Colorado River, Desert View Watchtower, Marble Canyon, Dragon Corridor, and more!
