In this video, I show how I turned a pencil into a temporary soldering iron. This works because pencil graphite is conductive. When a current passes through it, it heats up so much that it melts the solder. This project is intended for entertainment and educational purposes (or if you really need to solder something), but there is enough pencil for several soldering.
