In this video, we’ll stretch the tried and true minor pentatonic scale into something with a bit more color. Just by adding two notes to the minor pentatonic scale, we can arrive at the natural minor scale.

The natural minor scale works great in blues tunes as we’ll see in the example lick in D minor.

Don’t forget to tune to Dropped D to play along with the lick (D - A - D - G - B - E)
