During a meeting with the outgoing Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC), Akpabio urged the commission to take decisive action to remove such officials. He expressed concerns that this practice has politicised the parliamentary system and created divisions within the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria.
