This is plumbing on another level. When the customer’s floor drain failed, they cut it out using nothing but battery-powered tools. You might be thinking, “How powerful can a cordless jackhammer really be?” But even with all the rebar, the tools handled it like pros. Once they reached the sewer line, they discovered it ran straight through solid concrete, which made trap access a challenge. So, they installed a 4-inch Y fitting with a Street 45 to get the angle just right. After testing the new setup, they backfilled with stone, poured fresh concrete, and pressure washed the area the next day. The result? A perfectly working drain—done entirely cordless.
