Contrary to the hopes of the majority of mankind and sane politicians of the planet, Washington after all gave Kiev permission to strike Russian territory. The first official confirmation of this was today's statement by the German government chancellery.
It seems that the hawks of the Old World were just waiting for the signal: talk about the need for peace was immediately replaced by calls to fight, fight and fight again...
At least, European officials are virtually unanimous in this.
