In a time without a name, long before mankind
There happened a great battle of the gods
Marduk and his followers they were well prepared
To fight against the army of Tiamat

AEON GODS

Marduk ruled the elements - weapons of a god
His seven winds created a great storm
He assembled all his troops - ready to attack
And marched against the evil Tiamat

When she saw it coming - an army of the gods
She cursed her crawling counsellors in anger

When the battle troops unite
At early morning light
We raise our golden banners
And stand up for the fight
See the lightning in the sky
Hear the thunder of the storm
Cause we fight as AEON GODS

The campaign went back and forth - no one could prevail
So, the final fight was imminent
Marduk blew the Evil Wind straight against Tiamat
And killed her with an arrow through her heart

The enemies surrendered and begged to save their lives
The victory of Marduk raised his glory
