Just picked up the 16gb Macbook Air to run my studio. Why? Because it's way more than capable to run something like this hybrid studio. I skipped on the Mac Studio for music production because its honestly overkill. Even the 14" Macbook Pro can be a bit much. But that's just my thought since my music is fairly simple and relies a lot more on external gear. How about your setup? You need a new computer? If so why?
