This video is one of a 3 part series that contains music video clips of songs where artists collaborated to record a song. Most of these are duets between two artists (individuals or groups), but a few are collaborations between 3 or more artists. These are cases where the artists had no intentions of recording together as a duo or group permanently. Therefore, you won't see duos such Simon and Garfunkel, Hall & Oates, Captain & Tennille, etc. These are strictly collaborations between usually well known artists (but not always) to record a song or songs together. It also includes cases where an instrumentalist collaborates with a singer to provide vocals on a song. Both artists may or may not appear on the label, but the vocals are prominent enough to be considered a duet vs. just backing vocals. Most of these reached US Billboard Top 40. The songs are provided in chronological order for the years 1970 thru 1991. After that there are far too many collaborations to even research.
