This was only my 2nd ever attempt at making a tune, so it's part experiment, and just to see what I could come up with. Many years later I can see alot of my mistakes that I wasn't hearing back then. It's not mixed that well, the female vocal sample doesn't hit on the 1 properly, and musically just sounds wrong, etc etc. But I do remember I put alot of effort into it though, and it has some good ideas. Considering some other people's attempts are very lazy or minimal, then as far as I'm concerned it's certainly not bad for only a 2nd ever attempt. I believe in my potential.
Because I wanted to use samples from the past, or to maybe make something resembling some tunes I grew up with, I thought I'd have old Hardcore/Rave tunes be my influence.
The sound and video arnt quite in sync. And the peak level meter goes into the red at times, but thats just cos of all the plugins i had open at the start.The actual audio you're hearing is from another copy that i rendered beforehand and then layered on top of the video afterwards, so the sound wasn't recorded with it peaking in the red like that. The only outside sourced samples apart from the 2 sound packs i have is the voices/vocals and thats it.The rest of it was created with the sounds inside FL studio.
