In this Math #Drumming video, we created a linear tribal tom drum groove using the Fibonacci Sequence. 👉 While the hi-hat keeps time in 4/4, the toms, kick drum, and snare (with a disengaged strainer) follows a 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 phrasing resulting in a rather unique melody.
...Music = Math ☜🥁☝︎
ℹ︎ The #FibonacciSequence can be found in mathematics, computer science, and nature. The band TOOL helped popularize its use for composing music with their third studio album "Lateralus".
